Swans reflecting elephants is a painting by Salvador Dali. It was made in 1937 and is oil on canvas. Dali painted this during his paranoic-critical period. In this painting there is a self portrait of Dali and swans looking in a pond with a distorted image to look like elephants. I think this painting is very interesting because of the images he placed in it and the colors he used. I also think it is interesting because he is expressing his feelings about the surrealist movement and the type of audience it was attracting.
