"The Circus"

This picture by Georges Seurat is called "The Circus." I like this painting because it represents a circus. The colors just stand out and are very bright. I like the different use of colors that Seurat has used. I also like the painting because it is playful and child like. It is a painting that I think many children will like to look at. I could see this painting in a young child's room. I also like how it captures the auidence looking at the circus not just the people participating in the circus. Seraut just took part of the circus to paint which works because it still shows everyone that a circus is going on. There are alot of elements to look at while looking at this painting.
