This is Paul Cezzane's painting, Still Life with Basket of Apples. It was painted from 1890 until 1894 and is oil on canvas. This painting incorporates shape and point of view. The use of color in this painting is very realistic and life-like. The wine bottle in this painting is also somewhat distorted to give a sense of "sympathy". I enjoy this painting because its use of color and distorted image. The colors are beautiful and really show of the objects in the painting, especially the apples.
