Paul Cezanne has painted Mont Sainte-Victoire countless times. These are just two of the paintings that he did of the landscape and I put them side by side to show that each time he painted it he switched up his colors, or style. The painting on the left definately has less control and is more impressionalist, the one on the right is more detailed and has more color. However in both of these paintings he was able to use structure to portray surface and depth. They say that most of Paul Cezannes paintings look almost unfinished, and as you can see there is some white in both paintings where color could have been filled in.
